100% VEGAN awesomeness!!! What more can be said? All the food is concocted and made right there. No beyond or impossible meat. They have their own unique menu, with unique flavors, so simply stuff you can’t find anywhere else and DELICIOUS!!Go support these people!

Souley Vegan is a great spot for comforting vegan food right near Jack London Square. The fried steak was the standout, crispy on the outside with a satisfying texture, and the mashed potatoes were rich and flavorful without feeling too heavy. Portions were filling, and the large indoor dining space made it easy to settle in. I went in the morning and there was about a 15 to 20 minute wait with just one group ahead, which suggested they were a bit light on staff. That said, the team was friendly and welcoming throughout. The location is especially convenient if you are coming from the ferry, making it an easy stop for a casual meal. One practical note: the app did not work for takeout orders in the morning, but calling in works since they handle to go orders all day. Overall, a reliable option for hearty vegan comfort food, and I would definitely go back. Might be THE best in Oakland!

Disclaimer: I am NOT a vegan but wowwwww! I’ve been turned onto it because the food here is better than any southern cooking I’ve ever had. Love the ambiance, old school hip hop playing, delicious cocktails and amazing service. Highly recommend the vegan Mac and the beignets!!! Chefs kiss

I’ve been coming here for years. I went two days in a row this week for them Lion’s Mane Sliders. 10/10 I recommend. The Crispy buns with cabbage, the swamp sauce and pickles. The lion’s mane is so tender and breading has the perfect crunch. Go get that.
